HELP!!! AIR/FUEL gauge Question!?!?

I finished installing my autometer pro-comp ulta light air/fuel ratio gauge today and can't tell if it's working right or not...It sorta swings around somewhat most of the time. Like when I get on it, it does go towards the rich area but every now and then shifts back to lean quickly. When I let off the gas it goes to lean then disappears, then comes back to rich (I'm assuming this is correct since of course after letting off the gas there's going to be more air than fuel until it goes back to idle).

It just looks soo weird the way it oscillates around is all, is this normal??

Sounds like you have everything working 100% correct. The reason it goes to lean and then disappears when you completely let off the gas is all of our honda's when the throttle is completely closed and the engine is over 800 RPM, the ecu shuts off all injectors so the engine gets 0 fuel under decel. This increases fuel mileage but its so lean b/c there is no fuel its off the range of the gauge. It swings wildly b/c the ecu is again changing the amt of fuel something like 4 times a sec for the best mixture.
