I work at Wal-mart and I have to park all the way in the back of the parking lot because my boss saids that were I have to park stuid f**k.
Well me and a firend that I was going to give a ride home leave out of the store about 12:30 at night and its raining like he[[. I see that my drive side window was broken in and I see my cd player has been stolen. The whole center console is total fu[k up. Its going to cost me about $245 for a new drive side window and I have to pay for that. The insurance will only pay for repair for the damage to the inside my civic.


Tip:Should I make a bigger calim to my insurance comany for a better cd player or something???

Same thing happened to me about a month ago, although my driver's side door was demolished with a crow bar, as well as having the dash ripped apart. The insurance company got me a replacement radio for my car though, along with paying for the dash and door. Good luck, and I hope you have around a month or two to wait for your car back.... insurance claims take forever.....

i hate these ghetto a$$ people who dont work for a dam thing and have to take someone's things that works hard for them. gets me very mad.[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG] luckily my car hasnt been broken into. thank god i know if someone breaks into my car i swear ill go crazy and hurt someone real quick. sorry guys just venting.

I remember reading in another post on this forum, that if you claim to have the original oem cd player that the insurance company will give you a higher quote because Honda charges an [IMG]i/expressions/moon.gif[/IMG] - load for the stock radio. Look up the list price for you're stock radio from a honda parts distributor and I bet it's more than what you paid for your aftermarket one.

dmg to replace it at a dealer wil cost over 1000grand.
and if u got hook up on insurance, ull be able to get 400 to buy new cd player.
if not ur insurance wont pay for after market stereo unit.

dude i think we have all been in that situation. mine got jacked 9/9/01 system gone. 2 windows broken needed a new passenger door. like 4000 in damages. i would deff try to get some more out of it. you said it was raining. get some money for damage to interior

Oh man that really sucks just curious was it a aftermarket or OEM one? because the OEM ones require a code so it would kind of be dumb to steal a OEM CD player.

Yeah I always deface in my older civic my Kenwood deck I would die without a stereo in my ride.
