M3 Mirrors w/turn signals

I just bought a pair of M3 mirrors for my 2002 Honda civic and got them painted, bolted onto the car, and ran the wires for the turn signals (in the mirrors) into the inside of the car through the factory wire grommet. I was wanting to know if there is anyway I can hook these wires up to something inside the car so that they will blink when my turn signals do (such as a fuse or the actual wires that run out to the front turn signals in the headlights). I just want to avoid going through the firewall and tapping into these actual wires for the front turn signals, when I'm sure there is a way to do it from inside the car.

Thanks, Dan

Did you get power m3 mirrors? If so, how did you wire them to your car? What color is Honda's ground wire, etc. The mirrors themselves have the normal colors but Honda's wires are all different colors!

Nope, I have a DX so i got the manual mirrors. I was following DIY for sidemarkers for a color guide of the wires but the side marks are mounted on the fender so it makes since to look for the turn siganl wires under the hood, but do to the fact the mirrors are on the door it would save alot of trouble to wire them up inside the car. I have already fished them through. I'm not mounting a switch i want to tap into the lines that lead to the turn signal, I wanted to know were i could locate these wires inside the car. They have to be there some where due to the fact the factory switch is located on the steering column. lol. That DIY for the LED washers is ok but there is a better way of doing it and it is sort of what I want to do with the mirrors. For the washers you can take the plus from the leds and wedge them in with the left or right hedlight fuse located in the fuse box and when you turn your headlights on the leds will come on too. Anyone know where the turn signal wires are inside the car. I'm going to run the wires from the LED's in the mirrors to the wires that lead to the turn signals in the head light.
