Sway bar need tie bar ??

Finding some conflicting ideas from searching, so if I get a thicker sway bar, is it necessary to get a tie bar in there? Or does a tie bar merely stiffens it out more?

I'm getting a RSX S sway bar sent to me, and if I need to will get a Tenzo R tie bar...

I read somewhere here that if you get a rear anti sway bar over 20mm it's recommended to get a tie bar so that you don't damage the crossmember and/or rip your subframe. I have a 22mm rear anti sway bar and handling is intensly easier as there is not enough body roll to complain about at fast speeds or notice at low speeds. I don't have a rear tie bar (it's ordered and it's delivery is 2 days LATE!!!!! )

I like the design of the Neuspeed rear tie bar... as far as I know, it's the only one that doesn't bend.

I never said I got it. My previous post just clarified that I saw it.

Tenzo R does have one for our cars. I think they are as reliable a brand as Neuspeeds. I'll go check it out in person one day.

From what I have read, yes U would need a tie bar if you get a sway bar 20mm or bigger. That is why progress' comes with one.
