Tried Painting my RS Grille Today
Results were less than perfect, so I pressed undo.
No, I have a paint gun and a compressor and paint. I have everything I need to do the job, but it's tougher than I thought.
I guess I did an allright job for my first time, but I want it to be perfect. It's hard to get the grill ultra clean now though. I've been using Q-tips and lacquer thinner to do the cleaning, but I've gotat least two more hours of cleaning to do before it's okay. I think that it'll look better when I clearcoat it. It should seal in the rough areas and make them look shinier. I hope it will at least. Okay, just felt like sharing...

I have only one pic of the grille before I started painting it. I didn't take any more since I was busy with undoing the damage. I got mine off of Ebay for $39 shipped. Actually $42 shipped since I opted to use Ebay credit card payment service.
