PIAA fogs no longer working, anyone know? Blown fuse?!

They were working this morning....

When I tried to turn them on tonight, it didn't work no more

I have PIAA 1400X fogs, installed at a pro shop.... Worked fine for about 1.5 months....

I went through all the little fuses under the hood, and about half of the little fuses under the steering wheel.... all were fine.... Do fogs even USE fuses?

Anyone know what might be the possible problem? I looked for an inline (?) fuse connected to the wires, but there's only one big hulking relay... I looked into both fogs, and the bulb appears to be still intact and not burnt out....

NOTHING was changed between this morning and now.... no wiring, no messing under the hood, nothing. All lights and fans work fine in the car, no weird lights on in the dash......

There should be a fuse between hot and your switch, and a fuse between hot and your relay or your relay and your lights. Depending how how it's wired.

Foglights (H2?) bulbs suck in general if they aren't mounted to metal. I had them on my old car mounted to the plastic and they tend to blow when they bounce around on the plastic. Check and see if they are mounted straight through the bumper into the metal frame. That was my problem. So check the bulbs I'd say.

i think your best bet is, if you cant find a fuse between your lights and your relay, is to replace the relay itself. you could buy one at your local auto store for 5 bucks.

The relay thing looks like a finger long black chocolate bar... I think it might be specific to PIAA???

The fogs are mounted directly to the metal bumper, although I do drive alot on bumpy crappy city roads... The bulbs themselves APPEAR to be ok... I don't see little bits of metal (tungsten) bouncing around inside....

I was hoping to get them fixed in the next couple days as I'm driving alot.... Looks like I'll have to wait until weekend and bring it into the shop....

I'm thinking the way the guys wired it, it LOOKS like they just tapped into a fuse under the steering wheel, but I don't see two wires stuck into the holes of a small fuse.... I see some wires near some of the bigger, cube-shaped "fuses" (?).... Could those be blown? Do you tell that they're blown same way as those little tiny fuses??
