Tie Rod Busted?

Tie Rod Busted?
Ok. so i'm getting my T'Oser full coilovers installed and apparently my tie rods/bushings are all shot.. i didn't get a chance to look at it but he said that it basically broke off during installation. I've had my alignment done twice since i had my pro-kit installed and that's been about 7 months now. sooo what could have caused this??
