good adhesive removers?

Alright i'm going to remove my eyelids because my car is going back to mostly stock. problem is, it came with very strong 2-sided black tape. what are some good ways to remove the tape. it's on the lens so i cant really scrape it with anything.

good adhesive removers? DO NOT USE GOO GONE OR ANY OF THOSE THINGS!!!!!!!!! they will fuuuck up your lens!!!! i speak from experience. i was clearing my lights and some goo got on the inside lens, tried goo gone or goof off...one of those, and now i have a "frosted" lens. it looks bad... so dont do it. i dont know what to tell you to use tho...the lens is a bad thing to get anything on i suppose.

Goo Gone is okay if you are using it on the outside of the lens, but it will serious mess up your lens if you are using it on the outside of the lens...I use that stuff all the time to remove bugs and dirt from the outside of the lens...but it seems as if u are trying to remove sticky stuff on the outside of the lens, so it should be okay...

Ok, well, if its on the outside then Goo Gone or Bug & Tar remover would work well..

i am speakin from experience as well,,use a heat gun / hair dryer to soften the adhesive, gently work it slow to peal it off, spray 3M adhesive remover on and let set for a bit, wipe off with soft terry cloth.
