How to wire power M3-style mirrors?

How to wire power M3-style mirrors?
I'm having a bit of a problem. Trying to wire M3-style mirrors on my brother's 2k2 the color codes don't match up. The colors on the mirror's wiring harness are, of course, red-white-black. The wires on the car's harness are all sorts of crazy colors/stripes/dashes etc...and the colors on the driver's side is different than on the passenger side. Anyone know how to hook these things up properly?

Rep Power: 0 The colors are listed in the DIY for the sidemarkers...as for the wiring of the signals....they've got it all fVcked up...at least mine and pseudos...black is the live wire and black with a white strip is the ground coming from the mirrors....peace
