Grill Painting
Those of you with a new grill like the RS or altezza, did you get it painted and if so where and can you do it yourself and make it look ok? how much if you took it somewhere or what did you use if you did it yourself?

$45 @ marcos... it's weird tho because i painted it to the EXTACT color of the car, down to the color code, but now it doesn't match the bumper but it matches the hood. i don't know about everyone else, but on my car you can actually tell the difference in color between the hood and the bumper

I jsut ordered mine and im getting it done for free because my buddy works at a body shop and he alwasy give me some extrapaint after he paints thing on my car so I'm going to give him the extra paitn to paint it. NOw my question is shoudl I paint all of it or jsut the trim?

thats because the plastic of the bumper absorbs more pigment than the sheet metal of the hood. any car will look that way. some cars are just more noticeable.
