get the apex! since mostly everyone here already has the dc exhaust.

aluminum doesnt rust. Aluminized Steel does though. The chemical composition of rust is iron and oxygen...not aluminum and oxygen...and SALT DOES NOT CAUSE RUST.

salt doesn't CAUSE rust, but it greatly accelerates corrosion by increasing the conductivity of the water solution on the surface of the metal that DOES cause rust. You cannot have rust with only salt present because water (moisture) is necessary to facilitate the ionaztions necessary for oxidiation of the metal (i.e. rusting). As we all know, air ALWAYS has moisture in it (save for a dry desert), and therefore the presence of salt will always accelerate the rusting of metals in all but the most extreme dry environment. This is why metals rust very quickly in a salt water environment (thus why heavy galvanized steel is used on ships and other structures exposed to a salt water environment. Just shedding a little enlightenment from my education. Peace

any exhaust that does not have stainless steel piping will eventually rust.

Apexi N1 tip is not that big. Well, the turbo N1 is big but the NA N1 isn't that big
