Foggy Windows
Do any of you have trouble with your windows fogging up? And I don't mean from premiscous acts either
My windows, especially the back one, gets this really grimey film on the inside and it takes a lot of scrubbing to get off. I heard it was caused by the sun, but the only time mine is in the sun is when I'm at work and that's only 4 hours..
Just curious if anyone else has this problem and if there is something I can do to prevent it. I tried those fog-free wipe thingies, but all they do is add more crud to the windows...

yep. i've heard it's fumes from the finish that goes on a new car's fabric... it also makes your rear deck sticky. I took mine apart a few days ago and scrubbed the rear window down real good. I think i shouldn't have any more foggy windows
give it like 8-12 months to heal

If you look at other cars, a lot of them have foggy windows too, even the older cars. And it may not just be the fumes from the vinyl.
When moisture condenses on any surface, it will always leave a tiny bit of film or dirt behind. So after several cool nights and hot days, your windows get more and more filmy as moisture keeps condensing and evaporating off of the windows. I've had my car for 18 months now, and I still get filmy crap on my windows... and it happens even more now that I've moved to San Diego (hot days, cool nights).

Tint the windows... then you can't see the fog. If not, put a paper towel around a stiff piece of cardboard and clean the window with water and vinegar or Sparkle. It takes the crap off, but you have to clean it every week to keep it like that.
