Just got a call from the tint shop....
It has long been said on here that the dot matrix on the windows could not be tinted. Well, according to the shop, they got my tints to stick to the matrix. I have to pick it up in about an hour, so I'll take some pics then, but all I was told was that it will take extra time to cure, and that it should be left in the sun for several days to make sure it dries. After that, it will work like any other tint. So I guess I'm the only one....

Here it is... ok... so I may not be the first one, but it still looks cool, and much better than if they had to stop it.
I got my windows tinted last friday (yeah, the "matrix" as well) with mirror tint. Anyway, I still have these spots that look like condensation, but they don' disappear when you rub on them or anything. When they first got done of course it was expected, but I've done EVERYTHING I was s'posed to do and it looks like colonies of bacteria or somethin' in the tint. Do I have a botched job?? Should I take it back to the tint shop, or wait 2 weeks for it to fully "cure"??

EDIT: By the way, I'm talkin' 'bout the passenger and driver side windows. I have a coupe. Anyway, all the other glass is pretty much perfect 'cept the side windows, 'specially the drivers side

That powdery stuff is what they used to fit the film to the window and keep it from sticking. That was 2 minutes after I got home! I know... it needs to be cleaned off, but it was finished after they closed yesterday and I just told them I would wash it myself.

Yes... they took out the deck and tinted right over the 3rd brake light. The whole window is covered.
The dot matrix is the pattern of black dots ontop of the rear window to help block sunlight. It is also around the rear side windows on a coupe.
