good grippy tires for stock wheels....

ok i searched for this and i was wondering what are good tires to put on the stock wheels cause mine are almost bald... and i need some new ones for winter anyhoo....

I'm going with Yokohama Avid T4's as a replacement for my stock tires. I thought about the H4's but I prefer longer tread life to the better performance rating. I'm still debating whether to go up a size from my 185-70-14s. If I do go for 195-60-15 could someone recommend some not-too-expensive rims (<$100 per wheel).

go to pepboys... they got $50 15's... some look cool... but if u wanna get 17's ur looking at about $100 a wheel...
