MY ANGEL EYES ARE FOGGING UP!!!!!

I need some help, I just installed my projectors and the peanut bulb on my stock headlights are a push-in, but the projector is fitted for a twist-in! How can I properly seal the lights so they won't fog????

simple way would be to put the stock headlights back in and throw the "angel eyes" under a truck

Hahaha I was thinking the same thing. He always likes to flame on people for modding their car, yet his car is completely stock and he uses the excuse "I'd rather drive a domestic." Whatever I'd love to have a badass firehawk or vette but hey I don't sit here and say stupid things about aftermarket parts...I don't like altezzas, but keep that to myself. Get a life dude. Guys, I appreciate the help but the headlight seal itself is not the problem, the problem lies with my peanut bulb......the Projectors call for a twist-in bulb, but mine are a push-in...I wonder if the 2k2 peanuts are the twist-in......anyone have any good ideas???

I had the same prob so I went to home depot and bought electrical putty. Then I put it around the lights harness so there wouldn't be anymore gaps. Since then, i haven't had any problems . Oh, and the putty will come off without leaving any goo if you decide to replace the lights in the future

nookie, time to hit the books again...if you cant see on my signature i have question marks after the word stock. same as my member ride page. what do question marks mean?

Main Entry: question mark
Function: noun
Date: 1869
1 : something unknown, unknowable, or uncertain

well there you have it...yet another moron who cant comprehend that some people dont feel the need to list tons of crap to make their mod lists bigger. this must be at least the 3rd or 4th time that some idiot has said "oh well you dont know what youre talking about because your car is completely stock"

guess what? its not.

Just take them back to Unauthorized Performance and tell him the situation. I'm sure he will help you. You showed me them yesterday night and i think you should take them back. I know you like the look of them a lot so try and seal it with something. But don't use silicone!

Hahaha it's funny as hell that he only took the part that I said his car is stock and not the entire quote, to where you miss the entire context of the message. Wow, the way words can change when you take away the context. Yes, but the point was that you have no life dude. There is no reason for you to go bashing other people's cars because either :
1. You're too broke to mod your car. I really don't believe you have anything in the least done to yours, not that it really matters anyways. Do yourself a favor and try to grow a brain that way when people ask questions, you can answer intelligently. Oh yeah that makes alot of sense go destroy his new headlights he spent a pretty penny on

2. You're just a straight up hater. I really don't understand why 8 out of 10 responses I see from you are always negative about someone or their car. Mister all knowing likeweeee wee in his mouth. I really think you need a girlfriend or something because whatever you have going is making you very annoying. Not only are you annoying, but you are disrespectful to not only the people asking questions, but to Derek. Thanks for making his site your mockery dumbshiet.

3. You're just mad because mommy and daddy decided to buy you a civic because you wrecked your mustang or whatever. Oh boo hoo. If you really loved the domestic I really believe you would have bought another one unless mommy and daddy bought you your car I personally like domestics as well but only certain ones. It is my firm belief that the domestic auto market died in the early to mid 70's when true muscle cars died out.

I've been reading alot of your responses, and this is really the first time I've really spoke my mind about your ignorant and annoying a$s. If you do a search for you 80% of your responses are a freakin flame or something stupid. We ALL do it, but if you want to act dumb take it to off topic not in tech. To each his own. If you don't like his godamn angeleyes then don't say anything a$shole. As if we didn't have enough garbage to rummage through when we want real info. By the way...inca is a pretty nasty color...i agree with mikalem on that

By the way it's funny that YOU of all people could criticize about "useless garbage." Take a look at the majority of your posts.

Okay I'm done

If I'm understanding your question correctly you're asking how to get the parking light in so it will stay? The screw in receptor does not match your plug in light bulb? Sounds like what you might have to do is just be ghetto and shave the receptor to get it to fit, and use some duct tape or electrical tape to get in there. Maybe some putty might help. That's just the name of the game when you get something aftermarket. 9 times out of 10 it won't fit perfectly. Overall, how do you like your new headlights?

I found that especially entertaining. Performance mods on a 2001 civic hahaha. Until you're at moocow or Htown's level don't sit here and talk about "performance mods." You probably have intake, header, and exhaust or something to that effect right? Maybe pullies or a cam gear? Well let's see you're probably about 0% quicker and 1300 dollars broker, since you consider these "performance mods." We all know that any type of engine modification on the seventh generation civic gives little to no improvement, which makes them all "rice" mods. Rice mods are modifications that serve little or no purpose other than looks or sound right? Hahaha. Good luck with your "performance" minded civic hahahahaha. well what should i call them then? "make my civic go faster" mods? if you say they do little or nothing then whats this?
Engine/Performance Modifications
Injen CAI
DC TCS Catback

straight from your page.

so wait...that would make you down a good bit of money and still the same speed as stock. dont be a hypocrite. nobody likes a hypocrite.

"2. You're just a straight up hater." Bingo! you nailed it. guess i listen to too much star and buckwild on hot 97 fm.
and if this derek guy is so mad, then let him ban me. im not going to whine about it, in fact it would probably give me more free time to work on the slowvic rather than make fun of rice kiddies. however he has not even lifted a finger to contact me and complain about my opinions. no need to talk for other people. i dont believe you have been chosen as his emissary.

as for the other two points you inferenced, both 1 and 3 are wrong.

keep trying son...oh and get a couple more of your online "friends" to help you collaborate on a comeback. im done here, no need to give details on my life or my car to a little kid like you.

Well, all in all I like the angel eyes, dispite the fogging and the fact that the glow ring kinda sux, I would totally recommend them to anyone, the fogging will be fixed this weekend with some plummers putty and a little duct tape prolly (I guess nookiemonster is right, ghetto might HAVE to be the way to go here), but the beam is good, the look fu<king SEXY and I love everything finally being clear!

Thanks for the input guys, sorry to all that had to deal with the immature hater......you know who you are

Lates

P.S. LIKEWEEEEE, never ever post again on a thread started by me, I would love to meet you in real life someday to show you how I feel.......I am one of the few white guys with a level 3 black belt, I would love to see if I remember my shiet!

Well I typed those mods in under engine mods, but where else should I put them. I never sais they were "performance" or made my car "faster." Moron I put them there for the same reason ricers put their altezzas on. YEah they're rice. They do jack for the car. But he missed the part where I typed "but what's the point?" I put them there cuz yeah they look and sound cool. Call me a ricer. I really don't care. REally there is no point on a civic. Especially a seventh gen. It's obvious that it's a waste of time. Oh and by the way your little remark about me being a little kid....how about a 22 year old little kid in the United States Marine Corps? Hypocrite, maybe if you want to call it that, but I never said I had "performance mods" and I never took the time to ridicule somebody for buying a set of headlights. Like I said in the first place....get a life dude

hey big, I had that problem with the altezza taillights I got for my mustang before I had to sell it and get my civic. Just do the tape thing or putty thing but also go in from the backside of the lights and will a really small drill bit put a hole in the backside of the area bubble for that light at the bottom and one at the top. reason for this is so that JUST in case it continues to leak the bottom hole will drain the water out and the top hole will let the water vapor out and you'll clear up the problem instantly, at least it worked like a charm for me.
