Alrighty all, I have finished part 1 of the Club Si New Hampshire run that some of us attended a week ago. Here it is:

The File size is a little over 21MB, but it is great quality (700K).

I am still a novice at this whole movie making thing. This is the first part of 2 or 3, depending on how I create the next one. I am happy with the way this one turned out, though I would have liked to edit it down further, but I didn't in the interest of time. I am learning more and more each time I make a movie, so let me know what you think....

I D/L'de it and it plays fine until the liquor store. When you go through all of the cars it stops abruptly. I'm D/Ling it again. Maybe something weird happened? Where should it end? [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]

Edit: Nevermind. It works now. I didn't D/L the whole thing last time. Good stuff. I want to see some driving though...

I don't think that it was really your server acting up that was causing the problem.
I think that it is more of a bandwidth issue.
since the video went up last night, it has be accessed 37 times from my machine alone.
I'm not sure if you still have it up, or if people are trying to d/l it from there too.
and someone must have posted it at clubsi.com cuz I have a ton of referals from there. hehe
My poor server! haha
I was trying to access a page and was wondering what the hell was taking it so long, so I checked the server. 3 people connected!
I'm gonna have to see what I can do to optimize it too.
I think I have it setup so that it doesn't crash, but I can change the seting for faster speed, if need be. only downside is not as stable.
let me know when the other 2 are ready (so that my modem can over heat and catch on fire) hehe

So you're having issues, eh? Here's the deal:

I do have bandwidth issues on my server, as I have at least 10K hits this month. What is your upload speed? People usually hit 100K on mine, but they tend to hit a wall at that point. The problem that I have is that my server goes down pretty much once a week, so when it is down, I need a mirror I can use to keep supplying the files. That's why I was happy when you volunteered. I was the one who posted on clubsi, since it was their gathering that we attended in the first place. I put up your mirror in order to aid in any downtime that the server has. Plus it helps eleviate (sp?) my bandwidth load, as I am quickly approaching some limits I have, especially w/ part 2 coming REAL soon.....

So you see my dilemma now..... BTW, about referrals, you wouldn't believe some of the places these files have been posted.... [IMG]i/expressions/moon.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]

ok i watch the movie yesterday and i say the beginning looked good, lots of people. but i would like to see some driving in part 2.... i think a nice gold car in the middle of all of that would have brightend the day a bit. sorry i couldnt go...

The oddest one I can think of is a "Military Family and Politics" website posted one. Quite odd when I saw that..........


Part 2 is in production now. There will be about 50% driving in this one (that would be Grey's driving )...... It will also focus on the Attitash parking lot 4x4 and the final wrapup of the event. I'll also be trying to incorporate some new features and items that I would like to try out, so it may be delayed some extra time. I'm looking at the beginning of next week for it to be completed. Then I am contemplating merging the two into one and changing................. ahh, but I digress.............
