so im sitting in study hall and doing nothing as usual, and my buddy comes up and says the school cop wants to speak with me. so i go up and hes like "well i go out to the parking lot to jimmy open a girls car, and i guess yours is right next to hers. so im sitting there staring at it and i realise...u got a ps2, tv, controllers, and god knows what in the trunk. please just for my sake so i know your cars safe, at least hide the playstation better or take it out for school because u never know whos gonna come off the road and just break that glass and run with it all." just thought it was funny because usually when the cops wanna talk to you in my high school it doesnt mean any good. and him and the security guys wound up asking me a bunch more questions about it and said its geourgeous, it kinda made my day. goes to show that sometimes cops appreciate the imports...especially when the same guy and his partner caught my friend street racing in his modded vw corrado and all they did was talk to him about cars for 20 mins then let him go. i love Medford, NJ police

everyone has good experiences with cops, mine was when i got pulled over by some troopers for a burnout and chirp they saw. one of the guys looked at my license and handed it back to me. then we dumped on hondas for about 10 min. then he said i should get a volkwagen and walked off

thanks everyone. its not like the ps2's in plain view but if u look under the passenger seat u can see the front of it. and the airbags are for air bag suspension and the switches control each how the airbags work, to whoever was asking.

It's not funny, the cop's serious. I had my Kenwood stereo stolen on Sept 11th while I was out of town...... bastards caused around 3 grand in damage to my car, and I'm STILL waiting on the insurance company to figure it all out (my car meanwhile isn't drivable due to a missing driver's side window and a messed up lock). Hide it, for your own sake. There are a ton of people in this world that don't give a crap about you or your stuff.

I would think the response would be: what's the point of having the flashy stuff if you can't floss it. I'm of the mind to hide EVERYTHING in my car, especially if I'm in a bad area. I've know people that have had their window smashed for $2.50 in quarters. Would've been better off leaving the car open. At least then the would have only lost 2.50 not 2.50 + 150 for a new window
