OT: New undercover interceptor on 401
Saw it the last two days in the morning going to work on the 401 W between Leslie - Yonge stretch.
It's a red (maroon) Ford Taurus SHO. Dark tinted so you can't even see the lights through the back window.
The only marking on it is the small POLICE INTERCEPTOR badge on it's trunk like the undercover Impalas.

At least he's not there for speeding (you'd be lucky if you're not bumper to bumper in the morning)... It's part of that blitz they're having catching "dangerous" and "careless" drivers.
No more bj on the way to work guys, they'll definitely consider that dangerous!

also... the old chevy's.. forgot what they were called..... its like that black car in the movie "Men in Black" ... the one that they drive..but a bit longer in size... chevy or ford. i saw a few of those.... they were undy's for sure... 'cause they tailed me for a long long time... then pulled up next to me and gave me a dirty look .. then left. i was like 'wtf'. then it hit me...
also... watch out for all chevy's, i once had this couple pull me over...... a COUPLE!... they were undercover cops. i threw a tissue out the window at like 2am .... adn they pulled me over and told me to go pick it up, haha.
hate them all, dumb ****'s.

OPP actually has a few unmarked Windstars for undercover service as well...
As for that SHO--which year is it? I am guessing the new ones with the 4.6L Stang engine.. cause the old Yamaha powered ones would be too old.
Are you sure it was a genuine cop car though? SHOs were discontined all together a while ago...

Not sure of the year but it looked like the new one. I know the new ones don't have the SHO for general public to purchase. But remember, the Crown Victoria is still being made but only sold to enforcement agencies exclusively, absolutely unavailable to the general public.
Yup I'm sure, I passed by it again this morning (in a traffic jam) and I could see his uniform as he had his window open. If you walk by a police station especially OPP stations where they have unmarked vehicles, take a look at the back of the cars and usually you'll see the badge. It's a rectangular badge with a chrome/silver border and letters and black background.

Crazy pigs! It probbaly has the 4.6L... but then again, I wonder how much sense that makes, considering the CrownVics have the 4.6L as well. Only difference is, Taurus is a bit lighter, and FWD instead of RWD... cop logic I guess.
As for the Crown Vics, you can still buy them as a fleet car as a corporation.. or if you are an individual, you can buy the Grand Marquis, which is a Crown Vic rebadged, regrilled, with more luxery options. Ford logic, i guess.
