dont know if anyone will know here but its worth a shot
my friend has a 1997 Mitsu Eclipse GSX AWD. He's looking on doing a swap, i told him he should look at the Lancer Evo motors but im not sure if the are compatable. Does anyone here know if they are? or where i could go to find out?

Yes, it's possible. Might want to check DSM Trader to find the needed parts, as well as Car-Part and ebay.
