no door on the American International Kit
I just noticed - the 2K2 civics have a little "door" for the storage space below the head unit. I didnt know the mounting kit would be the whole mid section INCLUDING the storage space.
so now if i install this, I will lose the little "door".
Not a big deal - but it was one of the differentiating factors between a 2k1 and a 2k2. I liked the door. Is there anyway to keep it?

possibly speakers - but right now it looks like too much of a pain. not only are the speakers take like a million steps to get to - but once u expose them, you have to do drilling or put spacers or stuff to make it fit right. Come on honda- make em standard size so we can replace em easier
