1/8mile times to 1/4mile time conversion?

Ok, so it was my first time at the track today with my team. I had TONS of fun. Its where you can race against cops if you want too, so that was fun. I won a couple races...one against a reg. cop car, and against a 96 or above civic hatch with exhaust, and probably intake. The only problem with this track is that its only 1/8 mile. So i have all of these time slips, and no idea what it would be with we went the full 1/4. I heard some guy say that you just add 4 seconds onto your 1/8mile time, and that about what you have...i figure thats for normal cars so im thinking closer to maybe 5? I dont know. Anyways...i had a hard time off the line on all of my runs. My best R/T was a .804...and my best 1/8 with a R/T of 1.022 was 10.452 @ 66.86MPH. If someone knows how to figure about what my 1/4 mile time is, please let me know. Im curious to see what my car runs. Also, any hints on those R/T's? It seemed that people would start to go before the light even turned green, maybe i'll try that next time. Oh, and i lost to a S2000, Fully decked out Cop Camaro (it was about 9 flat in the 1/8), Grand Prix GT (only cause i missed 2nd), and a Nova. No, i didnt pick the cars that i got to run against. It was retarded, cause i could have beat a bunch of people. Oh well, its all fun. Thanks for your help on this guys.
Peace~

There is no real way to tell. Those you mentioned were generalizations. Some cars do better in the first 1/8 then the second 1/8 mile and vice versa.

i see what you are saying. Is there anyone who did about the same time in the 1/8 as i did that had a chance to go the full 1/4? I just want like a general idea on what my 1/4 is. Cause if its a mid 15, im gonna be super happy with myself, and with my car. i think its pretty safe to say that its under 16 is it not? Anyways, the track was at Laguna Seca Raceway. Good times, maybe next time i will see some of you out there. It goes on about every other Wednesday.
Peace~

let me know what you have done to the engine and the adding a # of seconds to the 1/8 time is not a solid way. depending on what you've done to the car, low 16's is probably what you would have done. like you beating the cop car, if it were 1/4 with his extra torque he most likely would have caught up and beat you. my .02

acutally the cop car that i raced burned me off of the line by like nearly half a second! By the end of the 1/8 i was a nose ahead of him. So actually i would have to argue that i would have beaten the cop car to the 1/4. All i have done to my engine is a CAI by AEM, and the HKS rear section Hiper exhaust. Thats it, everything else is looks, and suspension. I have a short shifter, but that can only help so much.
i seriously think that i would have been under a 16 like you predicted. But i guess i will never know for sure.
Peace~

I've gotten pretty close estimates of 1/4mi. times by multiplying the 1/8th time by 1.56.
