Factory Springs With Konis

My friend took off his coilovers from his accord wagon and put his factory springs on with his Tokicos. He cut his factory springs 2 inches. It now rides like a caddilac. Doesn't bounce for sh !t. Has anyone tried cutting their factory springs with Konis? BTW my friend has had his factory springs on for about 2 months now. No problem with them sagging or anything.

eh someone here cut their springs here, said it rode like stock even with stock springs... even if it does you have the problem of bottoming out/rubbing since the springs are so soft. also performance wouldnt be that much better cause your cars not going to be stiff since the spring rate is still the same. to me i think its just better to use lowering springs.
