With the money you'd lose on a trade, just swap a K20A2 into your Civic. It may be cheaper than buying RSX-S. Figure the dealer giving you somewhere between 12 and 14 for your car and the RSX-S is 24 and change.
bro thats hard. Noone can tell u what to do, and u know that. I love my ride, but im content without the speed ya know? just deckin mine out for show, which is hard when u live in MS and the import scene is LOW! Ill make my Civ quick but ill eventually get something just for goin fast but thats down the road man. I know this aint much help but if its really bothering u to get the dohc...RSX my friend.

The feeling will pass. V-Tech is overrated anyway, even the EX has only 7 horses more than ours. I want a Corvette really bad and even started looking for one to buy. There's a time and a place for something new to come along. You'll know when that moment comes. Otherwise, be patient. I am or am trying to be. The 7th gen is a lifestyle, not an ultimate go-fast car, so enjoy what you can. If it wasn't a lifestyle, then there would be no 2k1Civic.com.

When you say more power, how much more power are we talking? More power to satisfy your own personal needs, or more power that you'll be faster than everyone on the street. If it's the first one, then be patient. Do your research, and wait for a great deal to come along that you just can't pass up. If it's the second one, then remember, no matter how fast your car is, you can't win them all.
Also, if you really truly love your civic, then do a swap or wait for more aftermarket parts. You can always put your car on the bottle for not that much money. Maybe that will give you the power your craving.

i am gonna wait it out and see what comes out for the cars
