Eibach Pro Kit on Sedan?
Does anyone have Eibach Pro Kit springs on a sedan? If so, do you need a camber kit? Is the back lower than the front? I have H&R sport springs I got a 2” drop and the back is lower than the front also I just got some rims and I don’t like that I’m eating up the inside of my tires. I wanted to get the Eibach camber kit but because I have 18’s on my car and I know that the tire will hit but if I put the Eibach springs they would be ok because of the 0.80” drop. From what I know you don’t need a camber kit till the car drops at least 1.5”. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance

hey whussup, i see you decided to post your question here.. not sure what i mentioned in the other thread last time but i'll start over...
people with eibach springs(both prokit and sportlines) on a sedan have complained that the rear was lower then the front. think about it, on a coupe the drop is even, you put the same springs on a sedan that has more weight in the rear and of course that even drop on a coupe is going to turn into a uneven drop in a sedan.
wait and you have a 2" drop with h&rs? what size tires do you have and how many finger gaps do you have on each side? the h&r sports and prokit have a similar drop(althought eibach says they lower .8" alot of people have claimed it lowers 1.2"). so ya i wouldnt even recommend the prokit. on a sedan i only recommend neuspeed or goldline for 4 door. i think these are the only 2 companies that have acknowledge the fact that some people with sedans actually want to lower their cars.
"I wanted to get the Eibach camber kit but because I have 18’s on my car and I know that the tire will hit" hit the fender well? naw dont worry i have 18s(215-40-18 tires) and i have neuspeed sports(similar drop to sportlines). i dont have a camber kit yet but i probably will get one soon. i doubt anything will hit tho. if it does, just roll your fenders a lil bit.
i personally think that a prokit is a waste of money. ya its going to kill the fender gap a lil bit but your cars still going to look stock, especially with 18s. you might not have to get a camber kit with the prokit but why spend $200 when you could hardly notice the drop. to me spending that extra 125 on a camber kit to notice the drop is worth it.

I had the eibach prokits on my sedan for a little while. I had like a 3 finger gap in the front and barely a 1 finger gap in the rear. So, yea the rear does sag on the sedans with the eibachs, big time. If the back had only dropped an inch like it is supposed to with the prokits, I don't think I would have needed camber kits. My rear camber with the prokit spings was sitting at -2.5*. More than enough to warrant camber kits. I now have the neuspeed sports and have a perfect 1 finger gap all the way around.

I didn't do enough research before I bought my springs either. I sold my prokits and got the neuspeed sport springs that are made specifically for the sedan. They are great springs and at a relatively great price. I would suggest you sell yours and pick up the sports for the sedan. I also learned the hard way with the camber kits. I had a lowered accord several years ago and ended up replacing expensive tires because I was cheap and didn't buy camber correction kits. I picked up front and rear spc kits for the vic. Perfect alignment and no tire wear issues. It's worth the investment. You can always resell them later on down the road.
