I mean, let's keep it real here. 19K is nothing. I got 20k and I've had the car for 6 months. Who cares? especially if it's highway miles. It's mostly a physcological thing, the car itself lasts many many thousands of miles up into the 100K's. If it's resell value you're worrying about, then maybe you will loose some money on the trade in a year or two from now. But then again..who cares?
My heart broke when my car passed the 100 mile mark...(i got it when it had 2 miles on it) last week it past 20K. I drive 120 miles a day. Great car, runs good, ain't gonna break down for a long long time. By that time, someone else will have it, so who really gives a @#$. Just keepin it real fellas.

No thats not high at all.
I had a 2000 crew cab, when i went to sell it a year and a half later it had 39,800 on it.
Ive seen some cars on ebay that are like 2000-2001's with 95,000 on them

I have had my current 2002 civic 8 months and have 13,600 on it.....

ya, I've got 7500 miles and I've only had the car for 2 and a half months. I guess thats pretty high, but I've had to do a lot of extra driving, plus I drive over 50 miles to work every day. ( I think I should live closer to work!)

If you buy that junker, you're riskin your life. Our 2k1's got great safety features, you should drive that one for sure. Don't worry about the miles. No body cares, and neither should you. Until you get up the the 90k's 100k's. Hell in 5 years...none of us will be driving these things, we'll be in the 9th gen's. hehehe

Just wait, once you're over 15k or so, it'll feel like you modded the ECM or something...it gets a lil extra kick.
I just passed 16k about 2 days ago, and I got my civic on 11-09-01. I consider my driving to be a lot especially since I work with a Dr. and I drive inbetween offices, plus normal daily driving, and seeing my girlfriend on the weekends who lives an 1 1/2 away. That's about 160 miles round trip just to see her. I think I'll hit 20k before the end of the year. On top of all this I'm going to be starting in the LAPD Police Academy in the next few months, so I'm going to be driving to Echo Park everyday for 5 days straight for about 7 months. It's about a good 30 minutes away from where I live. Civics can take the beating.
