Goodbuy GT-S, hello Grand Cherokee
I just bought a 2002 Grand Cherokee Larado 4 wheel drive. I will probably be selling the celica somewhere, dont know if it will be here in Ia or take them both back out to Co. I needed the Jeep because unfortunately, Im moving up into the mountains and the celica wouldnt last long up there. Anyone in Co, that is looking for a celica, let me know, maybe I can help.

Damn dudeand I thought I was bad.........4 cars in 5 years.
Oh man, I wish you were in VA. Carmax offered me $14,000 for my Civic (I just got them to check it out 'cause I almost bought a GTI 1.8T), and I would seriously consider the GTS. Oh well, it's all good. There's a sliver one at Carmax in Dulles for $16,999, so I may get that one. I don't know yet. Geez, man...move to VA
.
. Yea, i had 5 cars in 5 years, but i'm thinking i'm gonna keep my Pro 5 for at least 3 -5 years. If i win the lottery, i'm not buying a new car, but making this one into the perfect sleeper.
No offense but you should have stayed far away from the Grand Cherokee. wayyyyyyy too many problems. If you guys think the civic transmission doesnt last long, just wait till the jeep's blows at 10k miles. We've had a bunch of different jeeps in the family (cherokee classic, grand cherokee's, wranglers, a liberty) and the only ones that weren't problems to anyone were the older style wranglers and the new liberty my brother has.

If it does have any unforsene problems like that, I would hope the dealership would cover it. The gas mileage didnt look that bad. (19/25). I dont think I'll have that far to go as far as work to home goes.

I also suggest the WRX idea.... it would be better in any weather condition than the Jeep.
It also looks good and moves QUICK... but the best reason of all: It's NOT an SUV

Driving new cars and constantly trading up is a huge waste of money. I have had 5 cars since I was 16, 4 of which were paid for with a check by my parents. I pay for the vic and plan to keep it for at least 5 years. I could easily drive a new bimmer if I wanted but I don't need the big car to impress anyone. I impress myself with all the money I have in the bank and never having to worry about my financial situation, period. Nevertheless, to each his own.
About the jeep, they are pretty nice and can take a tremendous amount of abuse. However, they are one of the worst, if not the worst, vehicles to ever be produced. They loose their value so quickly that you are basically upside down from the time you buy it until you get rid of it. Nevertheless, I hope everything goes ok for ya.

Because it is good for your credit. Just because you have the money to pay for a particular item, does not mean you have to. As someone who has an unusually excellent credit rating, I frequently will use my credit to pay for items I could otherwise purchase using cash simply to further increase my credit rating.
