i was wondering if anyone had H&R springs. race or sport?

whats the average drop on these? how's the ride?

do you rub with 17's?

i just installed H&R Sports on sunday on my 01 LX Coupe...installation was a breeze..the quality of the springs is excellent...the drop is alot more than the advertized 1.3in...i have a 2 finger gap in the back and a 1.5 finger gap in the front with stock tires...rides alot like stock...better than stock on small bumps...handles lots better too...

h&r discontinued race...
h&r sports are supposed to lower 1.3" but alot of people have reported a 1.5" drop. not recommended for sedans tho.
as for rubbing, it depends on the tire size but i highly doubt it. i run 215-40-18, about .6" bigger then stock and i dont rub with neuspeed sport(~1.7" drop)

i just was in the driveway seeing mine pop while turning the wheel when the car isnt moving...nope they dont..sounds like u guys have a lubrication problem

why wouldnt you recommend for sedans? after all theyre a european company/brand, and theres no coupes in europe...so theyre made for sedans pretty much. no??

thats a good question.. i have no idea why its not meant for sedans... reason why is the rear sits lower in the back then the front. i mean if you like it like that thats fine. but it even comes lower in the front then the back stock so thats probably how you should drop your car too. i think its cause its an american based market... most people dont lower sedans, they lower coupes... but ya thats a good question...

if theres any way you can find out more info on this id appreciate it...cause i was considering either H&R or Neuspeed for my sedan (i hear theyre pretty much the same company, just different name for different market). i just know that HP has H&R springs on his sedan and they look pretty damn good, but hes from europe so they might be different specs than here. dont know.

sedans are a little heavier in the back...therefore it sags a little

well i KNOW that the H&R springs here in america will sag on sedans. i believe familyguy and mbow has had this problem. reason for this is, on a coupe the drop is even, and as ohmysac has said, the sedans are heavier in the rear. so with the same springs, you have an even drop on a coupe and a sagging rear on a sedan due to the rear being heavier. so ya go with neuspeed. they have a 2 door and 4 door version of their springs because of this weight factor.

ohmysac, anythinng you can recommend?? i want to get it fixed but the shop i took it to said it was just a part of dropping a vehicle, i delieve them.
