SPC Rear Camber Kit Question
Does the rear camber kit from SPC have polyurethane or rubber bushings?
Please reply ONLY if you have this kit. I need to know for sure.
I searched the boards and nobody has said anything either way.

grey, i just installed these camber kits, front and rear this past week.......easy install and the person who did the alignment loved the rear kits! the bushings are made from rubber, which i guess is preferable for ride comfort......i really dont think that you would notice a huge difference if the bushing was made from poly......the only real difference i think between poly and ruber is that poly holds up longer, and may be a little stiffer, but poly still has some play in it, just like rubber....
i replaced the bushings front and rear for my sway bars w/ poly, and really did not notice much of a difference....but i will tell you, the 19mm rear sway bar made a HUGE improvement in the car's handeling characteristics!
peace!

Thank you for letting me know that they're rubber. Hmm... I really do want polyurethane. Maybe the Eibach kit has polyurethane bushings?
Anyone know how many times you ahve to oil the polyurethane to keep it from squeeking? My friend has polyurethane bushings all over his suspension and the car squeeks pretty loud in the morning. So we might just oil up the bushings to keep them from squeeking

You should actually grease them up. They have these grooves in them that hold the grease. If you get thick grease and grease them up properly then I would think that they would not squeek for something like 75,000 miles. You actually have to take the bushing out to grease it though. Otherwise you could just spray it with some WD-40 every 5,000 miles to keep it from squeeking. These numbers are arbitrary, but it's my best guess.

The squeeking was the ultimate attribute of the ingalls kits that caused me to go with the spc brand. I get enough noise from my springs. I don't think you would notice any difference with the poly bushings. The rear spc parts are of very high quality and I am very pleased with them. Not much to say about the front being that it's simply a bolt.
