Stock turbo from a nissian 300

Ok my buddy has a nissian 300, well he just bought a new engine, and a turbo upgrade. His car had 55,000 when he had to do all this (something got in his number one cyclinder, and broke the cyclinder??). He told me that he would sell me those turbos cheap, and said that way when one wears out I would have another one. One turbo has 22,000 miles on because the guy who had the car before had to replace that turbo. But how much PSI does just one of the turbo give out. One of my friends said it would be like 4.5 since his car had two turbo to produce 9 psi? Is this right? I understand I would need alot of work done to do this, but the price for the two turbo's, has me thinking of a project for my civic.?

You would think that they would be 9 psi each because they are sequential, right? Are they both the same? I thought one provided boost at low RPMs, then gradually switched to the other as that one spooled up. Like the systems on the RX-7s and Supras.

Depends on what year you're talking about, but a 300ZX in '87 had 6.5psi on a T3 turbo rated at 205hp.
