H&R drop tolerances
I'm thinking on getting some H&R Sport Springs but there have been some inconsistencies in the information I've seen. The company website claims that it is a 1.3" drop. However, my preferred store optauto.com lists them as being a 1.75" drop. I have heard some stories of the H&Rs being way lower than they expected. I definitely do not want to drop my car more than 1.5 in fear that my struts will blow. Can owners of these springs confirm the actual distance of the drop? Any form of feedback would be greatly appreciated. BTW I have a coupe model.

optauto is probably wrong. check h&rs website and they say 1.3". also if you look at the pictures, the drop looks slightly higher then neuspeed sports and sportlines which are both around the 1.7" area... even if it was a 1.5" drop i wouldn't worry about the shocks blowing too much. i have neuspeed sports on stock and i'm thinking its going to last awhile...

A major factor on "blowing" your struts is driving habits. Technically anything can happen, if you drive like your in a "race". Now if you drive like "grandma" even "Race" springs will provide a good life with OEM struts. "Driving Habits" is the key to how long anything on your car lasts.
They are 1.3 inches all the way around. The reason some people say they are lower than they expected is because they got the race springs without knowing before they were discontinued. I have some that I need to sell so if you are intrested let me know. I am looking to let them got for like $100-$125
