Good Solution to Attach Grill Mesh...?

Hey guys, I need your help. I just recently put on my Skyline bumper. But now, I need to figure out an easy way to attach the mesh in the upper and lower grill. I tried using epoxy but the stuff just doesn't cure fast enough and I don't feel like holding it together for like an hour or so. So anyone have any slick ways of attaching it without it being all ghetto? Your input is greatly appreciated...

ps. Please don't post questions about the bumper. If you have questions about it, please PM me. Thanks.

zipties? they're ghetto - but really, they work, and they're relatively easy to conceal.

You should attach the mesh from behind with some screws, thats the best way. Thats how I did my xenon bumper. Did the mesh come with the kit? It should have come with instructions... pretty much everything comes with instructions!

What type of epoxy are you using? Usually you can buy it with different set times... just get the one with the lowest set time(5 mins?) and that should be easier than an hour.. or maybe the 15 min stuff just to be safe.

a hot glue gun, or clear fishing line (kind of on the thick kind so it dont break), or they have clear zip ties at home depot. id attach it from the inside of the bumper tho.
as for the upper grill, i dont know...i tried to do a DIY on that, and couldnt figure out a good way to make the grill stay there. so im just gonna get the altezza grill. call aerotrendz or wherever you bought the bumper and ask them how to do it. hehe

Didn't you guys read what I said, SCREW IT ON FROM BEHIND. Don't go getto and use fishing line and glue gun, what the hell, take the extra time and do it right and make it look nice!

You can't screw it in from behind because it's fiberglass and there are no posts to screw into. The bumper didn't come with the mesh (had to go buy some from Home Depot). So I'm kind of in a bind. ANyone?

But I have the Skyline bumper... Plus I customized it by cutting the "fin" in the grill and reglassing the edges smooth, so now it has one big opening. Anyone...?

you could buy some fast setting epoxy, or go to the hardware store and get some clips to put on there. for the clips you can give them the "krylon touch" in a color thats close to your car color so they wont be noticable, of course if you do it right, then they wont be anyways. you could buy some air conditioning grade aluminum duct tape and tape it from the back, but that tends to look a little ghetto, but it would work. basically just use your imagination, and decide what would look/work the best for you.
