injen intake?

Does injen make an adapter to go from a SRI to CAI, I already bought the SRI and don't want to buy a whole new intake if I can avoid it.

Can't you just chop a CAI at the desired length to convert to SRI? You can always connect them back together.

No, they dont make them for a 7th gen civic "yet" but if you have a performace/tuning shop near your house they will do custom piping work for you, it may cost a bit but if you dont want to buy a whole new intake you can go that way. I would just sell the sri and buy the cai if its that big a deal for you. and NO you cannot use teh cai kit as an sri just by removing the extension, the short pipe is far too long to fit teh filter on teh end of without interference. you would have to cut the straight section of pipe on the sri section of the cai to fit the filter in place, but even doing that there is no mounting bracket on teh short tube to bolt in place anyways, so your intake would be bumping and wobbling around the entire time and eventually come free of your throttle body. You could have a bracket welded to teh tube but that still costs more money and your still best off just buying the cai to replace with and keep teh sri for when you want to switch. its not that hard to swap a bent pipe intake in and out of our cars.
