depends on what aspect of performance you're talking about. personally...i changed my springs first...cornering for me is one of the most enjoyable parts of driving...

id say work on an overall plan and build something you can be proud of, but never lose sight of the big picture.

have fun!

With all honesty I am totally stupid when I comes down to things under the hood...
I am a designer so I know how I want it to look, BUT you have a nice looking car with skirt package, wings, rims etc...
and there is no power to it it kinda looks funny...

I gotta save some $$$ to improve hp.

YOU ARE TOTALLY RIGHT ABOUT CORNERING!!!
2nd best thing for me in driving.

the first one when you launch and you feel it RIP!!!

perhaps invest in mods that will improve the response since you like the launch!

imo..comfort comes first..
first thing i added was pedals cuz the clutch pedal was just a bit too far to press down firmly, so i'd have to reach beyond my comfort level..
next was the solo short shift adapter, cuz the 1-3-5 reach was again too far..

guess it's just cuz i like to be set up perfectly in a car to enjoy driving it..

then i went for a little extra handling, so i added the upper front bar..cuz the first thing i noticed when driving it fast into the turns was a little flex in the body..

other things will surely come in time, but for now i'm happy just finding where the car and i meld..when i have it down 100% i'll get more shyt to improve performance and furthur the handling capabilities..

1llmatic will become famous soon enough
lower the car before you get an exhaust.
it just looks weird if you have an exhaust and its not lowered.

so...
-intake
- lower
- exhaust
- headers

my ride came with the kit it at least looked nice ....but i hopped on the SYSTEM i'm all bout music so got tha 12's installed......then cleared the headlights
lowering and tails are comming the same time then exhaust changes are going to come too just trying to figure what setup i want dont want it too loud.....
them crazy engine things like header and them things can wait till my warrantee is done on the engine because i have the bad luck of damaging cars so im gonna wait already had the tranny mount replaced so guess i'm gonna wait.

already got 2 tickets i'm dealing with now when i had moms car so speeding is something i'm tryin to stay away from too so guess i'm gonna chillout and look fake for a while .....not like u can get the civic that much faster anyways.
