Rigged Intake with stock intake and K&N filter!!
OK guys laugh if you want but i think this is cool. Im new to 2k1civ.com & just wanted to share a funny story. I have a 2k1 civ EX. My Friend said he had a K&N air filter and said he would give it to me and hook it up. He said we will go down to a Muffler store & they will bend me a pipe for my intake! But the store is closed. soooo we take off the stock intake bullshit plastic crap to take mesurments for my new intake. We get it all off take mesurements but we really dont want to put it back on. So I took the Stock intake's end (the side that sucks in air[closest to the battery]) and pulled it off the original peace of plastic. It fit on my intake manafold PERFECT! with a hose clamp. then i clamped the K&N filter to the other side. kinda Homosexual (they wouldnt let me put the 'G' word!) and gehto but hay The store was closed and it will work till tommarow..... i can also feel more power in my car i put a breather on as well. check out my pic till tommarow!1!!!! -works like a charm -the black thing connected to my filter was the *** end of the stock intake!! -hope nobody has to do this but the store was close and it worked [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/IMG] try it! iv been dring around for 2 days CHeCK MY Gehto intake till tommarow bEACHEZ

Hardcore mod's are nice !!. But are you going to get the custom piping ? That'lll improve the sound and looks even better.
