rear disc conversion info and price

anyone done anything like this? The email from company below seems to know their brakes has good comments. what do you guys think?

p.s. im looking for a set of rims with three very thin spokes. something that has max rotor/caliper visage in a brushed silver color.

Hi Scott

I am sorry to has taken so long to respond to your email (my pile of waiting
email is huge).

The rear brakes are problematic in that the e-brake becomes an issue. If
you wanted a kit without the e-brake, there would be no problem. We can do
a 13" kit which uses a PBR single piston sliding caliper that has an
integral e-brake. Most people want a 4 piston caliper (to match the front)
but then the e-brake problem is raised again and also the rear becomes
overbraked and locks up long before the front brakes have reached full
effectiveness. If you find that the rear PBR caliper is suitable, then a
kit will be no problem at all. The 13" rotor does require a 17" or larger
rim. The cost of this kit is $899.00

A rear kit as described above would match well with our front kit which
contains 13" one piece DBA (www.dba.com.au) curved vane rotors that are
either cross-drilled and slotted or slotted only. There is no cost
difference for this option. The kit also contains Wilwood 4 piston Billet
Dynalite calipers, 'D' compound pads, powdercoated caliper adaptors,
stainless steel braided Teflon brake lines and all the hardware required for
installation. This kit costs $999.00.

Does this sound like what you are looking for? If you have any other
questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Regards

Nigel

can you recommend what i would need to upgrade/convert my 2002 honda civic
LX
coupe rear drum brakes to disc and upgrade the front disc to match? i see
kits for civic EX coupe are the same kits compatible with the DX coupe? a
"ballpark" estimate in cost would be nice. i have a shop to do the work, the
price for parts is all i need. thank you.

it looks like, from their website, they are based in Oregon, and they mostly sell other manufacturer's brake parts....is that right?
