Is it just me or does Motegi make some durable rims?

I have Motegi MR7s and they are VERY durable. I have hit things that would have bent most rims by now. There have been a couple times I hit something like a pot hole or a bump in the road and I get out to check my rims and they are fine. So I am just curious if other people feel the same way.

Motegi's seems to be pretty durable so far. I have 18" mr15's with 35 series tires. I have hit things like pot holes and have not seen any sign of digs or warping. Of Course Motegi rims do weight more than others but this probably makes it more durable.

I was going to get the MR7s and then noticed the weight... something like 24 pounds each for the 17s Now I'm looking into the katana concept 7's... little cheaper and weigh a decent 20 lbs each. The extra weight that makes you a little slower might hold up to hard bumps better

I have 17s and they are 22lbs each and then with rubber they are close to 30lbs. I love my rims. I really don't care about the extra weight we have some sparco racing rims from Japan that weigh like 12 lbs each so if I want to race I can just throw those on. My motegis are for everyday.
