urgent question about neuspeed sport on coupe

ok, i've read threads about this but i just want to make sure. tell me if i got it right.

i only cut the REAR coils. i cut ONE coil, which wouldn't affect the ride.
where do i cut from, the bottom or the top of the coil? what do i tell the person
installing these? cut one coil? would they know what to do?

thanks!

please respond asap. i'm gonna order them tomorrow before they sell out again.

i could be wrong, but from waht i know, if you have the sedan neuspeed sport springs on your coupe, and you want a level drop, you cut one of the "dead" coils (off the rear springs).

Decamo has a little shameless behaviour in the past
If you have the neuspeed sport coupe model 55.20.62 then cut nothing!!!! Just install it.

If you have the neuspeed sport sedan model 55.20.61 then cut exactly one coil off the bottom of each rear spring to fit a coupe with a level drop. Note: The writing on Neuspeed sport springs is upside down on the rear springs. So when properly installed the wording is facing upside down. The side that should be cut is the bottom where the coils are more closely packed together.

If your confused just PM me or Hawk 'cause we've both done it.

55.20.62 is for 2001 and 2002 civics.

IMO Looking at VNlilMAN's pics though I think the cut sedan springs look better.

Take a look at mine on stock 15's : http://www.7thgencivic.com/members_r...er.cfm?id=2979

And Hawks on aftermarket 17's: http://www.7thgencivic.com/members_r...er.cfm?id=5314

Hawk and I both have 55.20.61 with one coil cut off the rears. But yeah, if you don't want the hassle of cutting a coil then get the coupe springs. If you have a dremel too though it'll take you less than 5min to cut both.
