Please do not flame. I have searched, but haven't really come up with anything, and I am not sure if this should be posted here, the parts, or the tech section.

I know in the front you need to drill and cut your factory struts, and this is something I do not want to do. I was wondering if someone could direct me as to which part numbers to purchase from Here. I do not have ABS and the car is a 2002 LX. I am assuming I need part# 464313 for the right side and part# 464687 for the left side. Correct me with the correct part numbers if I am wrong, or with a place that sells just the struts and not the struts with the factory springs, shocks, ect.

those are the whole assembly, i think all you need is 464981 and 465171 (#5 and #6), the shocks. but ya your going to have to take apart the stock shocks in order to get the rest of the peices, the top mount, bumpstop, etc.. but you dont modify those so your fine with just the shocks

I think you are right. I was thinking I needed the housing. I think I'm gonna need to spend the extra money to get the whole unit for what I want. I didn't plan to drill and cut since it has to be precise, and I'd hate to mess up, but I also wanted to be able to replace the whole thing in one easy swap in case I ever had warranty problems. Is there anywhere I could get those factory shocks with the housings (or does 5+6 include the housing(I'm hoping this is the case); unsure because of where the numbers are locateed). Looks like I may be spending the extra money. Any one else got any input?

the part numbers you had were for the whole assembly or housing as you would call it. the part numbers i put are just the shocks...
if you want an easy swap then you need everything but the stock springs. that way you wont have to take the shocks on your car apart

I don't think I quite explained myself the way I wanted to the last post, sorry. If you look Here , and look at picture # 11 and 12, it appears as if the original top piece of the housing is cut to remove the strut. I don't mind swapping springs if needed, but I would need an intact uncut housing in case of warranty problems. That is what I am looking for., and I think those part numbers you gave me is exactly what I need. Thank you. I guess I'm gonna call the 1-800 number from the site today to see if the struts come with the housing.
