Projector HEADLIGHTS - One is BRIGHTER?!?!?!
I recently installed a pair of black projector headlights to my 01 Civic coupe. I had some issues w/ one of the lights popping out a little bit but, I read some of the previous posts and I think I can fix that easily. However, whenever I turn my lights on at night one of them is way brighter than that other. Any idea's on how to fix this?
i had the same problem with my front left housing
the bulb kept popping out of place and eventually i said screw it and shoved it in there as far as possible and clamped it in as hard as i could and i havent had a problem since
it took me hours to finally get it though

I had the same problem, my left projector popped out and i just tryed to fit it the best i can. and when i went to put on my new bumper, the guy said he shaved the bottom of that projector so it can fit better. and my right one is brighter then the left ... its weird ....

It's weird and annoying! I can really tell that one is brighter than the other. First my friends would complain when I was behind them, telling me one was brighter. Then I had someone drive my car and drive towards me, it's really bad! I really need a quick fix for this, I'm about ready to put my stock headlights back in! krepoort in the forums was having a similar issue but with stock headlights...he put in bluish lights, and one looks like it shines blue, and the other white, almost like it's not getting proper power...maybe you have a similar issue?

Yes, that is the same issue that I've been having. I had blue lights in my stock headlights before I purchased the projector ones. One was just a tiny bit brigher and it was more of a white color, but it wasn't really all that noticable. With the projectors it's really bad!!
Its supposed to be like that. The drivers side headlight is supposed to be shorter in distance than the passenger side headlight. This way you can see the road better on the left side and not blind people on the right side. Every car is like that.

Thanks, but I've never noticed a car with lights like that before. I've seen other Civic's with the same projectors as me and they both look even. I'll probably have my boyfriend play around with them sometime this week and see if it's the way the are lined up.
