eibach sportline + 205/45/17
Has anyone had the combo of the eibach sportline with the tire size 205/45/17? If you do, will it rub the fenders? I don't plan on getting a camber kit, but should I do that as well?
Not having a camber kit usually helps it from not rubbing because the tires tucked in at a nice angle......Once you get a camberkit and allignment, your tire will be straight up and down, the top now being closer to the fender.........In your case, I don't think you'll have any problem.......I have a 2" drop, camberkit, and 205/40/17z and I have no problems with rubbing....but its pretty DAMN close........I'm sure 215z will rub, and then I'll have to get the inner lip of the fenders cut back or folded.......

Tekniq, is your camber perfect? Or is it still negative a little bit? I have 215/45 for my car and having problems keeping the camber straight because the fender rubs. Thinking of rolling the fender, but if the 205/45 is the key, prolly I'll just raise my car up till my tires all wear out and I can put on 205/45 tires all around. The 205/40 is a little too harsh for me. Plus I have no fender gap right now with the B&G setup and I still think it's a little too bouncy.

If your wheels are tucked with 19s, doesn't that mean your camber is hella off? Because if your tire is cambered at zero, with no fender gap, I'm pretty sure your fender is going to rub unless you got your fenders rolled. Do you have a camber kit and did you get it aligned?
no. don't have camber kit, just aligned. oh well, camber is off, but tires aren't wearin out too fast. it's been a year now. maybe it depends on where one drives or maybe i've just been lucky... for now
can't wait to get my 19in rh evos
can't wait to get my 19in rh evos I have a sedan with sportlines (stock struts/shocks) and 17x7 KMC Floss wheels. I originally had 215/45ZR-17 tires and they rubbed in the back every time I hit a bump. I had to go with 205/40 in order to clear the fender in the back and Yes I have camber kit, even though the wheels looked nice gettin they lean on, but it's a daily driver so I had to think practical. Rollin 40's and no rub and no Gap either. Sweet.
The ride is a little rough but oh Well, I like it.
