Sorry about that. I'm gonna try to explain this bare with me. The part of the indiglo gauges that give of the light source, is this coloured?? Or does the colour come from the piece that's sitting on top of it. If you look at the gauge on a reverse indiglo, it's blue until you get redline..That's the piece that's ontop of the idiglo material?? or is it the actual material that's coloured?
For you guys with indiglos do you think you could seperate the gauge face from the indiglo material?? And say put whatever you would want on top to give light to it. Of course it would be transluscent so light could shine through?
Thanks

your post was kinda confusing. are you talking about the reverse or the normal ones? either way, if i read your post correctly, the indiglos have its own light source. you just slip it right over your stock gauges. if you can dont pull out the needles. try your best to slip it through the needles. and if you have a 2k1 or 2k2 the gauges recalibrates itself (in my case it did), so you dont have to realign it. hope this helps.

Hmm..if I understand you correctly, you're wondering if the color comes from the indiglo gauge 'itself' or from a film that covers an 'internal light'. I believe its the actual gauge that the color comes from. I dont think you can 'peel off' the existing color scheme and put on another.
