can LX (14") Civic take EX 15" stock wheels?

Recently, I am replacing alloy wheels on my 2k2 EX. Just wondering if anyone knows a 2k2 LX with 14" factory wheels can take my 15" factory wheels without problems...so that I can give it to my gf...
THANKS

it should fit but the speedo might be off..cuz i entered stock size: 185/70R14 and the new size to 195/50R15 and it is a little too fast.
i was going to start a new thread asking the same thing...can anyone answer erikku and my question?

i am thinking getting a set of 02 coupe LX steelies and 15s hub cap then i will go get some 195 or 205/50R15 tires, would my speedo be off???

I'm GUESSING that the speedos are programed a lil different between EXs and base models, and her speedo and odo might be off by a little. Or so any tire calc. would tell you.

must use proper tire size to keep accurate reading on the speedometer... 185-70-14 , 185-65-15 , 195-60-15 with this tires you won't have problems with speedometer...

The overall sizes are almost the same. the 14" tire diameter are 24.196 and the 15" is 24.468. So the speedo will be off VERY slightly, but any time you plus size you can't expect perfect accuracy.

Basically it will probably be so minor, almost unnoticeable.

You'll get that much difference between a new tire & a used one... I doubt that Honda bothers changing anything for such a slight difference... my vote is: Go ahead & swap'em - it's an improvement.

sure merz, i will do that...cuz i just dont like the 14s hub cap and looks way too small.
but i am afraid if 195/65R15 will rub my fender when i have 5 ppl in the car

I plan on doing the same thing. Im puttin 18's on my 2002 ex coupe and puttin the 15's on my wifes 2001 lx 4dr and puttin the 14's in the basement. Come winter I'll reverse the whole process and put the 18's in the basement. Whew! talk about rotating your tires.......

i changed my plan..i picked up a set of used 2003 SiR rubbers and rims from some guy and it will go on my car
here's my question, the SiR stock rubber is Firestone FR690 and the size is 185/65R15
i thought they are wider...but what is the size on the Si (cdn model) or EX (us model)? i thought they have the same rims and same size but i want to confirm with you people

You sure you got 2003 used?

I have 2002 SI rims on my 2001 CIVIC and they are 195/60R15's, very very very very very very very very very minimal difference between my stock 14's and these 15's.
