I did a search but didn't really find what i was looking for. I cleared my headlights and got some glass amber bulbs and slapped them in. Didn't really like the way they looked so i tried painting them. I went to ACE Hardware and picked up some Krylon chrome spraypaint and gave them a nice coat...didnt really like the way they turned out... They lit up fine but looked kind of odd to me. But it's a little bit more tolerable than all that amber reflecting everywhere in my pretty clear lights. I know they have some amber leds out there that will fit our cars but my questions are...anyone have them? what do they look like once installed?? got pics!!!? Oh and i know that these leds have far less resistance than bulbs and might flash faster as a result...is this a problem with our cars?

yes. i do. in the rear turn signal only though. i haven't cleared headlights yet so i dont need them up there. and yes they will make your turn signals look like you have a hyperblinker. and no there are no problems with this, ive had mine in for 6 months now and everythings fine.

I had amber LEDz from Apc and they did hyperblink.....they also didn't come on at night, only when I signal.....

well i got amber APC turn signals, and they don't look all that bad, they sorta destroyed the purpose of clearing the headlights, but i already got pulled over for red turn signals once so i don't want to fvck up again and actually get a ticket... do the headlights look alright when the lights only come on when signaling?
