Rear tire worn out faster than the front?

Hey guys, my rear tires worn out faster than the front one.
I have perfect camber allignment since I have the camber kit for both front and rear.
Now I have 60% thread left for my front tires and 10% left for my rear tires.
I dropped my car 3" and using 17" rims with BFG 205/40/17
This is wierd....
Anybody having the same problem?
Can anyone tell me how and why this is happening?
Thanks a bunch.

that's odd on a front wheel drive car, but you need to watch your tires better and rotate them more often. could be an air pressure problem.

Do you rotate your tires every 3,000 mi???........more you rotate them the better off your are.....
if your rotating them every 7,000 or so, you just screwed yourself out of a set of tires,......
and yea, check the presure.......

I noticed that too. I do not have a drop and noticed the rear camber is different. The wheels tilt inward and making the tread on the inside of the rear tires wear faster. I cannot figure this out. I have had both 16s and 17s and it does the same. I am getting a drop done and have camber kits.

The tires I had were 205/50/16 and 215/45/17.

Essa, I think your rear tires are wearing out because they have been rubbing in your fender wells. Remember when I told you that you might have to look out for that when you asked about getting shorter struts for the rear? Check your fender wells and see if there are rub marks. That's all I can think of. Hope that helps.

Maybe you need to pu more air in there, too little air creates more friction on the tire, wearing more. Probably needs more air

Maybe your car got unaligned. It happens when you probably hit a potwhole or huge *** bump. Plus since your car is slammed (damn, three inches is low man) your car is more proned to harsher road conditions and cause your car to have suspension problems such as alignment. Fender rubbing may be a result too. Check out your tread more carefully. Is is still negative camber wear??? or is it positive camber wear? or is it in a wavy pattern kind of wear? I think that is from a messed up toe alignment. I've read about camber and caster problems in some car magazine, but forgot which one.

Must suck to pay 150 bucks to save you money for tires, and you still have problems about tread ware. I hope you can figure out the problem. Try to get it realligned and get a printout of a before and after alignment.
