Eric-go for a DC Sports Header, NOT THE CERAMIC ONE!!! That will do pretty darn good by your car! To get things cheap and still good quality-I go to eBaymotors.com and plug in 01 HoNdA CiViC in the search and it comes up with about 100+ mods for our cars! Some are new and some are used and some are good and some are bad, just weed through it and see what you come up with! Just about every mod is on there or will be on there-just keep checking it! My alternative to the performance shops we have in Tucson was this and it works for me! The performance shops in Tucson are a bit and EXPENSIVE!!! GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN WITH IT!!! dude i'm going for the AEM cai too, but probably won't have it in til the end of summer ($$$ problems). EX definitely has way more things though, so I dunno too much about headers for an LX. Oh, and I'll give you a call tomorrow.

Yup, I got screwed when I bought my DX cuz there isnt a whole out there for it performance wise unless I move things around. I want a header but I would have to move my cat so Im not sure about that yet. I think after I get my new cf hood Im gonna look into the AEM pulley.

Short shifters- In order to put one in you have to buy the adapter. The shifters are the same ones they use for the 6th gen and instead of making a whole new line of short shifters they just made the adapter. I know it sucks cux the adapter costs money and the short shifter costs money too.

Headers- I think that the LX and the EX have the cat under the car...not sure. My DX has the cat on the front of the engine and I would have to move it (illegal) in order to put a header on. I could do it and then change it back when emissions come around. Eric, you should be able to buy any header (DC sports, HP racing, ect...). Make sure you find out if it fits first though. I know of some headers that wont fit.

Basic advice- Keep an eye out in the Products and Parts forum...and keep reading whenevere someone talked abouts a part you might want. Thats pretty much how I learned about the parts I wanted.

Chris
