Random pinched off tube? Please help! ('02 civic LX manual)
I am currently checking the flow through my injectors and during disassembly I discovered a flexible rubber tube that has been doubled over several times and sealed shut with a zip tie. I've attached a video link in the body of this message. Please someone point me in the right direction. I know it didn't come off the assembly line like this. I'm not even sure if it's a fuel line, vacuum line, breather, whatever. No idea. It was located right behind my fuel rail underneath my breather box or acoustic resonator or whatever it's called, you'll see the video. Any advice whatsoever is welcome. No wrong answers. Thank you so much in advance. It won't let me post the video for some reason but here's the link to it in my Google photos. https://photos.app.goo.gl/HJR275Z6TEaoqtv5A

I haven't looked at a D17 in forever, but it kinda looks like it's supposed to be the PCV tube replaced with a generic ¼" tube. Previous own possibly had a catch can installed?
This pic of a D17A2 intake mani I found on ebay shows the tube I'm talking about
Check the side of your intake mani and see if you have a port that's plugged

Everything I find says there shouldn't even be a hose there. It looks like it goes into the intake manifold right above the connection for the PCV. I don't have any idea why it's there but it would likely cause a vacuum leak if removed.
