Damaged head

The spark plug threads on my cylinder head are damaged. I am wondering is it something to worry about since the spark plugs can still screw into place. They just get very tight have a half turn. If it is something to worry about are all cylinder heads the same across all d series. Because I have the HX the D16y5 and its not very popular so I cat find the exact head I would need.

You can put a helicoil in the spark plug holes, if you're not comfortable doing that a machine shop can
