Arai, Nok? Also alternate OEM part numbers?
Arai, Nok? Also alternate OEM part numbers?
I’ve noticed some, not sure what to call them, “sub-names” listed on various OEM parts on a receipt from Majestic Auto.
Some examples:
Arai
Nok
Koyo
Are these the names of companies that are contracted by Honda to make the part?
Also there is another number listed after a part number on some parts.
For example the Timing Belt part number is 1440-PMM-A02.
After it in parentheses is: 104RU22 Gb-333.
What is this? Is it an alternate part number of some sort?

koyo makes radiators, arai makes helmets, not sure if they make other stuff.
secondary codes, as long as the parts work on my car, I will not lose any sleep over them
