I have an 04 LX Sedan, manual transmission. Sometimes when driving, it feels like I am lightly tapping the brakes in and out. It isn’t really jerking, and the RPMs don’t drop. Put in new spark plugs, and also a new valve cover gasket and spark plug tube seals because there was oil around one of the plugs when I changed them. It is not throwing a code other than for the upstream O2 sensor, which is caused by crack in the manifold. Most of the time the car runs smooth, this issue seems to only occur after I’ve slowed down to make a turn, or after I come to a stop. Once it starts, it will continue to do it through all gears, at any speed, including while cruising, until I shut the car off. When I start it back up, it’s fine again. Any ideas?

I would recommend fixing that primary O2 sensor fault.

Yeah that controls your air/fuel ratio. Fix that and the car will be back to normal. The crack can be welded

Yeah I’m going to weld it myself, just gotta set the time aside to take it off and do it. Wouldn’t have thought that would cause that issue, but I’ll try it and see
