Best strut set-up?

I have a 2002 honda civic EX manual sedan. It's my daily, and I'm sure this question is asked frequently. But couldn't find the right forum for me. I am looking for the most comfortable and budget friendly set up, but I also love winter E brake drifting! I would like to stay atleast under $500 for parts all the way around. Also, I'm no professional mechanic, so something on the simpler side for installing as well. Thanks for your input!

in snow, you want a compliant and long stroke suspension, not a stiff and short one

I like rock auto. Wouldn't mind supporting them. Which ones should I get from them? And I've only had the car for about 3 years. I've put probably 15,000 miles on her. So I have no idea when the last time they were replaced.

Re: Best strut set-up?

I am also wondering what other kinds of things I should replace while changing the struts? Anything that is easier to change while im dug in with the struts? I'm assuming most things have not been touched at all.

Re: Best strut set-up?

since you quoted me, i think you are asking me specifically? I have not used stock shocks since 2005 (different priorities)

Well thanks anyways man. I think I might go with fcs? Would you also have any ideas of smaller things in those areas I can add to the job just to help the situation that much more??
